The aim of the cooperative research project SoftWiki is to support the collaboration of all stakeholders in software development processes particularly with respect to software requirements. Potentially very large and spatially distributed user groups shall be enabled to collect, semantically enrich, classify and aggregate software requirements in the easiest possible way.
Using the standards for terminological knowledge representation developed within the framework of the Semantic Web initiative W3C, we will design a flexibly extendable semantic requirements model. Based upon the generic implementation of a web-based tool for semantic collaboration, a requirements engineering tool is built so as to organize the collaboration between different stakeholders by means of the semantic requirments model and to aim for especially intuitive usability. For the requirements engineering, the tool will make use of current developments from the field of community collaboration (wikis, folksonomy) and also be interlinked with existing, stand-alone solutions of the project partners.
