Software Systems Engineering
Software more and more is becoming an integral part of complex products and systems. Therefore, the customer-oriented development of software is becoming an essential factor for the marketing success of these products and systems.
The Software Systems Engineering group develops and validates advanced methods and techniques for the elicitation, documentation, validation, and management of customer requirements.
Further methods and techniques address the systematic realisation of requirements using component-based approaches and the quality assurance of software systems.
In addition to the traditional form of individually constructing software systems, our attention is particularly devoted to software product line engineering and, as our newset field of research, service-based systems engineering.
